News Report: Clay Aiken, Dead

In a tragic twist of fate, Clay Aiken, along with his cohorts aboard spaceship 32, died in an explosion near the star of Mu Arae. Many people are sad as a result.

Mu Arae, Here I Come!!

Wow!! I just found out more today about our mission, and I have to be honest, it is truly breathtaking in its magnitude, yet sweet as candy in its simplicity!! Truly a marvelous mission awaits, and I look forward to the next step!!

We are headed to the star Mu Arae, which I've been told is 50 light years from planet Earth!! What an absolutely delightful name for a star, Mu Arae!! I wonder if when whoever it was who discovered the planet's name, if he (or she!! lol!!) giggled with childlike wonder for hours as I did?? Mu Arae, it rhymes with "who are you??", and indeed, "Who am I??" A truly grateful and humble magnificent creature of the Creator of the Universe, who has declared with his bellowing voice time and time again "Clay Aiken, you will be a light to this world, to sing and reveal all the beauty that can be found in one man!! But not only to sing your songs of delight on Earth, but to travel through the Cosmos and spread your jubilant joy to planets unknown!!" What an honor, and yet a curse!! For who among us hasn't wanted to give up from time to time?? I know I have, and yet I must keep my head held up high, and to gaze upward and inward, to know, to understand, and to trust!! This I honestly and truly believe!!

Our trip to Mu Arae, to an earth-like planet orbitting this star, will take from 20 to 40 days. This planet is the information hub of the Galaxy, say that five times fast!! lol!! I truly look forward to meeting the creatures there, it should be a crazy time to be sure!! I've never hugged an intergalactic creature before!! Also, I've been told they have not yet heard my music!! "Shuks, no bother!!", right?? Wonderful!!

First Full Day in Outerspace!!

Simply wow!! And in every way!!

Clay Aiken in Outerspace, who could have predicted that!! It is truly an amazing experience to mill about the main cabin and to converse with all the amazing people on board the ship, truly a wonder to behold!! Scientists, engineers, John Goodman, and a parrot too!! We had a meeting today to discuss in further detail our various roles on the ship, and to tell you the truth, it isn't exactly clear what I'm doing here!! But you know what I say to that?? "Shuks, no bother!!" Lol!! That's my new catchprase, I decided that everyone on the ship should have one!! I don't think anyone else has thought one up for themselves, but you know what?? "Shuks, no bother!!"

John Goodman is an absolute delight!! I just can't stop staring at that wonderful man, and letting him know with my smile that everything is going to be allright!! I think he must be homesick already, because he does not seem as happy as one would expect. I wrote him a poem today, and I think he really appreciated it. Here it is:

The Fatman in Outerspace

Hey fatman, were you fat all your life??
Did the kids in the playground call you fatty??
I think they did, didn't they??
You may be fat, but I think you're the best!!

Now earth says they don't want you!!
They say you're eating too much!!
Is that why they shipped you to outerspace??
That's what I heard!!

Hey fatman, I love you. And you're not fat to me, you're perfectly plump!!

Sometimes I impress even myself!!

We Have Lift-off!!

What a day!! Do you ever have it when you wake up with the sun shining on your face, and like a hydra you rise to meet the day with a smile, and then it hits you!! You realize that today is a day of fascination, a day of love, but a day of loss as well!! It is when we are faced with loss like this that we realize truly how much we care about all that we have, and all that we've left behind. And as my tears were flowing down, as I was waiting for the rocket ship to blast me far from home, lo and behold, there he appeared!! John Goodman, that magnananmous man I've adored for so long, appeared before me, and set my mind at ease. His gentle voice coaxing me to enter the ship, these were the words he said: "Clay, our mission is here, our mission in now. Don't give up hope for a better tomorrow, for tomorrow is more than we can imagine today!!" Or at least I'm pretty sure that's what he said. Honestly today has been a haze, but in a good way!! lol!!

The ship took off with a power I have never felt before, it truly was like feeling the biceps of the Creator of the Universe flex and pulse with every jar and jump that the rocketship made!! Wow!! So amazing!! So perplexing!! And in what felt like a second, but like a millenium as well, there we were in outer space!! So dark and compelling, like the winter of my mind!! Has any man been here before, I honestly don't know, but if they haven't, I will report the conditions: Utter darkness, but a cold comfort to soothe the sorrowing mind, to rest and to relax, oh but a glimpse!!

I need to sleep now, fatigue has overtaken me. I will report my adventures tomorrow, and I simply can't wait to wake up and enter Johnny boy's room (I think that's what I'm going to call him!! lol!!), and put my head on his pillow and just wait for him to awake, and to greet that marvelous creature with a smile to melt the fabric of reality!! Wonderful!!

My Spaceship Leaves Tomorrow!!

How exciting!! It has been an absolutely breathtaking week of satisfaction and delight, truly a marvel to behold!! It is time that I let you in on my mission, as you, my dear fans have been anxiously waiting for the news that will send their souls agasp!!

Commissioned by the United States government, I, Clay Aiken, your humble hero, will go on a spaceship ride to the far reaches of the galaxy, to the outer sanctuary of the Cosmos, to discover and to learn all that the Creator of the Universe has designed for me, and for the human race!! And what a ride it will be!! Adventure awaits, as I, along with a team of scientists and a crew of characters to delight and dazzle, will probe the galaxy to teach the Universe the beauty that I and all of us truly and honestly posess, and will reflect the light that the Creator of the Universe destined us all to behold!!

Did I tell you, John Goodman is here too!! Clay and John, what a duo we shall make!! I can imagine all kinds of quirky situations we will get in to, I simply can't wait to meet him tomorrow, and to see his shining smile that will melt the tears of angels when he finds out that the next 1000 days of his life will be in almost constant contact with his favorite American Idol!! (Lol!! I'm such a guber, plugging the show like that!!) Together, the two of us will make sure that alternative energy sources shall be hidden no more!! Wonderful!!

What a Ride!!

Truly mesmerising!! What started as a day of boredom and betrayal ended in a day that I can not soon forget!! Often it is in the least expected of circumstances that we find our path, our chance to shine, and to be made a spectacle of proportions great, that the universe might see our beaming smile and be reminded of all it was designed to do!! A home, a home, a path for those seeking a way, and a breath for those smothered in fear!!

For the next week I will be far from you, but as time marches forward, I will reveal to you more of what it is I've been called to do. It does seem scary, but exciting at the same time!! My mission is one of extreme importance, top secret (the authorities do not know about my blog!! lol... don't tell!!), and one that could lead the human race into unprecedented glory!! What an opportunity, what a load to bear!! If it were not for my fans holding my soul like a crutch holds the lame, I would not be able to stand the weight!! But I can not look back now, my mission awaits, and my vision is set on that which is to come!! Wonderful!!

7563: Let Us Not Forget

This is the number of days since the horrifible tragedy of the Challenger explosion. It is with a heavy heart that I look back upon this day, and I can do no more than cry. These brave men and women gave their lives that we might live in the great land of the free!! And what a great land it is!! The bluebirds and robins singing their songs in the early morning remind me, as I look back at the flaming ball of fire in the sky, that this should ignite the fire in our hearts, so that their deaths will not have been in vain!! Wonderful!!
